The mission of the National Black Women’s HIV/AIDS Network, Inc., is to reduce the burden of morbidity, mortality and stigma of HIV/AIDS and other health disparities associated with gender, social, and economic inequities among black women and girls.

As the only national organization focusing exclusively on Black woman and girls living with and at risk of HIV/AIDS and other health disparities, our primary purpose is to provide leadership and expertise in the prevention and spread of HIV/AIDS and other health disparities that affect black women and girls nationally and internationally.

We’ve created a “network” of Black women and girls committed  to focusing the attention of the broader community on the issues faced by Black women and girls living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and other health disparities. This unique model of community mobilization and shared leadership, addresses the  urgent need for black women to set and implement a national HIV/AIDS and health equity  agenda for black women.  With no promising cure or vaccine on the horizon the logical step for moving forward points to basic grassroots advocacy, community mobilization, and absolute determination. This action is vital in the fight to end HIV/AIDS and other health disparities in Black women and girls.

Join us! We offer a unique opportunity to collectively address the  urgent need for black women to set and implement a national HIV/AIDS and health equity  agenda for black women and girls living with and at risk of HIV/AIDS and other health disparities.
